KOAA News 5 in Colorado Springs/Pueblo is looking for experienced, hard hitting reporters to help grow our #1 newsroom. The successful candidates will be proven newsroom leaders with a strong understanding of a brand based news operation and community involvement. We are looking for engaging story tellers who can deliver motivated live shots, and also shine on set.
We just completed a multimillion dollar investment in our studios to push our product to the next level. You will be working in one of the most advanced newsroom in the country. You must be able to handle multiple stories & live shots each day, breaking news, and continuous coverage on web and social media. We have the best photographers in southern Colorado, but you also need to be able to shoot & edit as needed.
Colorado Springs-Pueblo is an amazing and dynamic market nestled along the front range of the Rocky Mountains, one hour south of Denver. PS – way less snow than you think and sunshine 300+ days of the year.
