Digital Content Producer

KRTV Communications, part of the Montana Television Network, is looking for a full-time Digital Content Producer, based in Helena, Mont.

Responsibilities include:

·      Creating, managing and editing text, video and slideshow content for all of KRTV. Communications’ digital platforms, including websites, apps and social media platforms.

·      Aggressively pursuing news tips and reporting on breaking news on digital formats, driving viewers across multiple platforms.

·      Collaborating with others in the newsroom on developing stories and best practices for digital publishing.

·      Managing the KRTV Communications’ digital community.

·      Analytics reporting, as necessary.

Candidates should be able to work quickly to meet deadlines in a very demanding news environment, must be able to multitask, must be a self-starter and must be able to work a flexible schedule. Applicants must be proficient in grammar, punctuation and spelling, as well as having excellent writing and communication skills.

Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, English or another related field.  Candidates with experience working in a newsroom or with digital and/or social media preferred.
