KOAA News 5 in Colorado Springs has an immediate opening for a game changer who will elevate the News 5 brand in primetime. This is not a traditional “topical” job. It’s much more than that. The ideal candidate will have the creative and technical skills to produce every style of on-air promotion, and just as importantly, has the ability to recruit raving fans via digital platforms and social media. The creative options are wide open on social media and we need someone who’s ready to test the boundaries of engagement.

We are a #1 station, have amazing facilities, the best gear, talented staff, and a deep commitment to our community. Our ideal candidate is an expert in Adobe Creative Suite - including Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, and After Effects. You must be actively engaged in social media and have a passion for telling stories in any medium. You need to be able to shoot and light as required. Knowledge of Chyron is a plus. We want someone who loves collaboration developing great, creative ideas.
