KOAA News5 Investigates, the #1 NBC affiliate in Colorado Springs, CO is looking for a Digital Media Journalist to join our number one news team.
This job requires an understanding of local TV news and how to drive viewers across multiple platforms. You must be able to multi-task in a fast paced environment. Creativity, good news judgment and the ability to engage viewers on social media and web is a must. We are looking for a self-starter with a strong work ethic who is a wiz at social media.
You will be part of a team of 50+ in a newsroom that has earned the Colorado Broadcasters Association’s coveted Station of the Year award dozens of times, including the last two years. We have a great work environment and a brand new, multi-million dollar facility. We are an investigative shop from top to bottom with a strong emphasis on weather and breaking news.
One year experience in a TV newsroom or related experience producing news content for multiple platforms is preferred, as is a degree in Journalism or Communications.
