Interactive Director

The dominant digital team in Colorado Springs, CO, is seeking an Interactive Director (ID) to lead sales and related operations for all interactive media business lines associated with KOAA-TV/#1 NBC, with a laser focus on sales and business development.  We offer a progressive culture and a solid team with years of experience to assist you in reaching our goals, including 2 Internet Sales Specialists to go on 4 legged calls.

You’ll have a spectacular view of Pikes Peak from your office, work room, ping pong and pool tables and hiking trails step away from your office. 300+ days a year of sunshine and the best skiing in the world just a couple hours away.  We just moved into a completely renovated 25,000 sq. foot facility, and we’re committed to world class products and client service. We’ve enjoyed tremendous web growth in Colorado Springs, and we want someone who can continue to push us up the mountain to help clients achieve their goals.

We are a business’s one-stop shop for all things digital/mobile, so you have to be able to understand and manage interactive marketing products and services such as web display ads, video, SEM, SEO, social media management, online promotions and email marketing.

The ID reports to the Vice President/Sales of the corporate company’s digital division, but works closely day to day with station executives, sales management, dedicated interactive salespeople and news directors to achieve strategic goals, assigned revenue and expense budgets.

The ID should have at least a bachelor’s degree in a related field, minimum 2 years of sales management experience, preferably in interactive and/or media services, and minimum 5 years of experience in media – broadcast, interactive, print or digital – preferably with a local emphasis.
