Chief Engineer

KVOA, the NBC affiliate in Tucson, Arizona is looking for a Chief Engineer.

The ideal candidate will have extensive television station experience: microwave, transmitter, information systems, maintenance and building planning combined with a strong management and planning background.

This is a departmental management position responsible for all technical maintenance, building facilities and information systems. The position is responsible for hiring, training, evaluation and scheduling, as well as operational and capital budget preparation and administration.

KVOA is looking for an individual who will provide strategic planning and direction to the station’s technical systems, technologies and operating standards. This position will be responsible for providing technical customer service satisfaction for our internal as well as external customers.

Strong people skills as well as excellent technical skills are essential. Extensive management experience is a plus.
