Multimedia Journalist

 

 

 

KTVH Helena is looking for an energetic and aggressive Mulitmedia Journalist to join our team.

 

The ideal candidate must have a passion for journalism, a strong understanding of journalistic principals and ethics and a broad curiosity about the world around them.

 

Applicants must have a college degree in journalism or a related field, experience writing, shooting video and editing, and be able to lift and operate television equipment.

 

The KTVH newsroom is one that fosters growth and learning. You will work side by side with experienced and award winning journalists while you cover a wide variety of topics. We are looking for someone who isn’t afraid to race out the door to the large wildfire, jump in front of the weather wall to talk about a dangerous blizzard and understands the importance of breaking news online and on social media.

Our market may be small, but we don’t act like it. Stories produced from our newsroom are regularly picked up by regional and national news outlets.

 

The KTVH offices are located in beautiful west central Montana.  We are a short drive away from two of America’s premier national parks (Glacier and Yellowstone), world class skiing and other outdoor recreation opportunities.
