KATC Communications, an ABC affiliate in Lafayette, LA, is looking for a Weekend Sports Anchor/Reporter to compliment our award winning 3-person sports team. You will anchor/report/produce weekend sportscasts, special broadcasts, and Friday Night Football shows. We cover UL Ragin Cajuns, LSU Tigers, New Orleans Saints, and all prep sports. You must be able to shoot, write, edit. You must realize that social media and posting to our website is an important part of the job, and you will be required to update often – as news breaks. Candidates should have a broadcast degree and experience at a commercial television station.
Must be able to meet Company Vehicle Operation requirements.
Ability to pass a drug test is required.
