Investigative Producer

KOAA News 5 Investigates, the number one NBC affiliate in beautiful Colorado Springs-Pueblo, has an immediate opening for an Investigative Producer.

We are looking for a self-motivated and enterprising journalist to join our award winning team. You must be familiar with the best IRE practices, the FOIA & CORA process, internet research, and how to track stories and developments after they air. We are looking for someone who can separate the real investigative work from consumer advocacy.

You must have a proven track record of building reliable sources and breaking investigative pieces. We have the best photographers and reporters in the market at your disposal. You will have the time, the legal support and the tools to do stories the right way.
