KATC is the ABC affiliate TV station in Lafayette, LA
KATC-TV, the #1 news station in Acadiana, is looking for a Full Time Executive News Producer to add to our award-winning team in Lafayette, Louisiana. This person will be responsible for mentoring other producers, producing the newscasts and special projects, as well as contributing to our website and social media pages.
Requirements:
· At least three years of producing experience. This is not an entry level position.
· Degree preferred.
· Ability to tell great stories through pictures and sound.
· Accurate and creative writing skills.
· Team player who can make quick, sound decisions.
Ability to pass a drug test is required.

Must be able to meet Company Vehicle Operation requirements.
